Mordax studs will give your horse complete confidence and security on any type of road - wet, dry or ice bound. Horses which are nervous in traffic can be ridden with greater confidence, and those prone to slip acquire a perfect grip on any road surface, grass, etc. As with all shoeing matters studs holes should only be fitted by a competent farrier. As the Mordax stud wears it still retains its efficiency in preventing slipping, as the centre of the stud consists of an exceptionally hard carbide pin which wears down much more slowly than the surrounding steel, always standing proud of it. The durability of Mordax Studs greatly increases the life of the shoe, and an appreciable saving is made possible in a short period of time.
