To ensure a correct fit that will allow the AirMesh to provide the highest level of protection begin by measuring the rider to determine their correct size. Take the chest measurement in centimetres by wrapping the tape measure around the widest part of the chest. Next, take a back length measurement from the base of the neck to the base of the spine. Next, reference Airowear’s AirMesh sizing charts to determine what the closest size will be.
When trying on he body protector that meets those specifications, check that the lowest rub lies at least two finger-lengths above the bottom of the body protector in the front and that the body protector doesn’t sit above the C7 vertebrae at the base of the neck. Finally, it is important to ensure that the body protector reaches to the top of the tailbone and is not too long in the back. Sitting in a saddle will test that the body protector does not extend low enough to touch the saddle.
